Photo Credit: Walter USA LLC Walter USA has announced an expansion of the range for its P6006 indexable inserts for exchangeable-tip drills. The P6006 can be used in Walter’s exchangeable-tip drills, including D4140, D4240 and D4340. The grade features a hard, robust substrate to extendtoollife.
Walter has introduced the Walter Turn tool holder with precision cooling and screw clamping (S…-P). In addition, rake face cooling helps break and control chips, and double flank face cooling directly at the cutting edge extendstoollife. Optimum coolant application increases toollife by 30% to 150%.
Walter has announced an expansion of the range for its P6006 indexable inserts for e xchangeable-tip drills. The P6006 can be used in all exchangeable-tip drills D4140, D4240, and D4340. Drilling from solid material and stacked plate (laminate) drilling is possible with the D4140 indexable drillinsert.
