Dave Winer developed one of the earliest blogging tools. I went to Radio Userland and constructed a simple blogging website—Gary’s Radio Weblog. Almost no magazines truly blog.

When I had a chance to pause and think, I started a blog on Dave Winer’s Radio Userland in 2003 as an experiment. The sales guys wanted to sell my blog to advertisers. I don’t count those. But the problems remain.
