Texas A&M University has developed a new class of biomaterial inks that mimic native characteristics of highly conductive human tissue, which is needed for the ink used in 3D printing, or additive manufacturing. In utilizing these 3D printers, Deo was able to print electrically active and stretchable electronic devices.
