Open Droids develops both single and dual arm mobile manipulators

In March 2024, Abhishek Gupta, Jackson Jesionowski, and Ashish Gupta founded Open Droids around the idea of creating an open-source robot platform. The San Francisco-based company launched the R1D1 single-arm mobile manipulator in August 2024 and had a booth in the startup zone at RoboBusiness 2024.
