GIL Automations Limited made history in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Space by signing a partnership with Siemens Energy as Nigerian local partner for turbo machinery products such as turbines, compressors and renewable energy.
This relationship is an extension to our 10 years successful business relationship with other divisions of Siemens in Nigeria.
This new agreement also covers legacy Dresser Rand Steam turbines, Siemens Westinghouse, Siemens Rolls Royce and other legacy brands associated with Siemens Energy for new products and existing Install base.
This alliance is a big boos for Nigeria’s local content law in that it will create local jobs, domesticate turbo-machinery technologies and take GIL one step closer to our vision of being our customers most trusted partner in providing systems that work.
The partnership kickoff event took place at Port Harcourt on 1st July, 2021 was graced by Engr. Simbi Wabote, the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, Siemens Energy MD Engr. Seun Sulaiman and GIL MD - Engr. Lawal Gbolahan.
