Industrial Transformation USA | Smart Manufacturing Event Announced

Italian German Exhibition Company (USA) Inc. – the joint U.S. subsidiary of Europe-based event organizers Deutsche Messe AG and Italian Exhibition Group – will stage the premiere of Industrial Transformation USA from 10 to 12 October 2023 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The new annual event serves manufacturers navigating the seas of digital transformation and shows them how to make production processes more efficient and sustainable.

“After 10 years of staging HANNOVER MESSE USA as a co-located event at IMTS, we are evolving the concept and launching Industrial Transformation USA with a dedicated focus on smart manufacturing,” said Ed Nichols, managing director of Italian German Exhibition Company (USA). “This is the natural progression, based on customer needs for a focused event that helps them navigate the realities of and industrial transformation and 5G. With this launch we expand our existing portfolio of Industrial Transformation exhibitions in Mexico and Singapore.”

After conducting extensive surveys, Industrial Transformation USA established two advisory boards – one comprised of exhibitors, the other of users – to develop topics and programming. The event brings together supply and demand so that both groups can identify and address current challenges in manufacturing from both a technology and practitioner point of view.

Companies already registered to exhibit at Industrial Transformation USA include OPC Foundation, and the Machine Information Interoperability division of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). The 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G ACIA) supports the 5G Arena, an exhibition area dedicated to industrial 5G applications and presentations. A Forum-Theater on the show floor and separate conferences round out the program.

Indianapolis is centrally located in the Midwest – the center of the United States’ main manufacturing region. Compared to Chicago, it is more affordable for exhibitors and attendees.

Industrial Transformation USA’s supporting partners are the International Society of Automation (ISA), the Control System Integrator Association (CSIA), The Smart Manufacturing Institute (CESMII), the Smart Factory Institute Tennessee, and the Manufacturing Leadership Council of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).
