Flexiv continues US expansion by partnering with Infinity Robotics

Flexiv, a general-purpose robotics company, has agreed a partnership with its new US-based integration company Infinity Robotics.

As a Flexiv integration partner, Infinity Robotics will work with customers to maximize production efficiency by installing Flexiv’s range of adaptive robots into their settings.

With more than ten years of experience in the distribution and manufacturing of automated control systems, Infinity Robotics provides innovative and customizable manufacturing solutions to its customers in and around Minnesota.

The agreement between Flexiv and Infinity Robotics demonstrates the drive of both companies to develop the North American automation sector and build new relationships with customers looking to upgrade their machine tending, material handling, palletizing, surface treatment and precision handling capabilities.

Daire Kullar, Flexiv’s regional sales and business development manager, says: “The timing of our partnership with Infinity Robotics couldn’t be better; both companies are growing rapidly with year-on-year growth. When I first met the talented and passionate in-house employees, I knew this was a team we would gel well with.

“We are glad to bring Infinity Robotics the most advanced adaptive robot in the industry. It’s an ideal addition to their toolbox.”

Dave Neville, Infinity Robotics president and co-founder, says: “We are excited to be the Midwest Integrator and Distributor of Flexiv’s force-controlled adaptive robots.

“Flexiv’s Rizon series is a massive step up in technology from the traditional cobots currently on the market. With seven degrees of freedom and built-in force feedback, we can solve complex automation problems right out of the box.”

With an ongoing labor shortage in North America, upgrading manufacturing facilities with robotic automation solutions is essential.

Capable of the dull, dirty, and dangerous jobs that human workers don’t want to do, Flexiv says its adaptive robotic automation solution can “significantly improve a business’s productivity and efficiency”.
