Jagemann celebrates 75 years in business, forms executive leadership team

Jagemann is marking its 75th anniversary of doing business in the stamping industry. In 1946, William P. Jagemann started the company in a small building in Manitowoc, Wis., and today it is a worldwide supplier of deep-draw stampings, progressive stampings, and fineblanked stampings (see “Stamper draws deeply on diversification, technology, community to grow,” March/April 2014 STAMPING Journal).

As Jagemann evaluates the future, it has revised its organizational structure, including the addition of an executive leadership team.

Eric Wolter has joined the company as vice president of engineering and operations. He has more than 40 years of engineering and operations experience. Edward Brown has been appointed vice president of sales and innovation. He brings to the company experience in engineering, production, quality, and sales, as well as more than 30 years of deep-draw experience. The new CFO is Robert Mathews. He has more than 35 years of experience in finance, management, and operations in a variety of industries.

Doug Odell has been hired as president. He has more than 25 years of industrial manufacturing experience. Reporting to Odell will be Wolter, Brown, Mathews, and Director of Human Resources Scott Gilson. Ralph Hardt, former president, will continue to serve as vice chairman of the board and will work with the new management team to help ensure a successful transition of roles and responsibilities.
