TRUMPF Inc. has broken ground to expand its local manufacture and sheet metal assembly of fabricating machine tools in Farmington, Conn., adding 55,800 square feet to its production building for the manufacture of laser cutting, bending and welding machinery.
Among the robots and automated systems on display at KUKA’s FABTECH 2023 booth was the ready2_educate-arc education cart, which includes a KR AGILUS and Lincoln R450 welder. The all-in-one cart is mobile, fits through standard size doors, can be used without the welder for general training purposes, and can even be used for the manufacturing of smaller parts.
