Robotiq completes its Adaptive Grippers offering with Hand-E, the first UR+ certified electric gripper ready for the e-Series, the new cobot line from Universal Robots. Hand-E’s high accuracy combined with a 50mm parallel stroke makes it perfect for precision assembly tasks. Its sealed design ensures reliability in the toughest manufacturing conditions.
How can we make collaborative robot applications simpler? Well, after 10 years of experience we have learned many ways of doing it. It starts by having the ability to create your own custom fingers and install them on your gripper in no-time. Then, add an intuitive URCap programming software, combined with high precision, pinch force, and payload. It will lead you to Hand-E, the ultimate gripper for collaborative robots.
Meet Hand-E
As Robotiq CTO Jean-Philippe Jobin explains: “We wanted to create a product that fits any manufacturer’s needs and allows them to start production faster. Hand-E comes with a 3-fingertips kit so automation engineers can easily integrate the gripper in their application. Its compact and ergonomic shape makes collaborative robot hand-guiding safe and easy.”
Along with the popular 2F-85 and 2F-140, Hand-E completes Robotiq’s product line of Adaptive Grippers, which all connect directly on the e-Series wrist. They all operate with the same URCap software which gives full control over the gripper’s position, force, and speed through the UR teach pendant. A new grip check feature allows the robot to validate grip with dimension before starting the cycle.
