The Workplace Health and Safety Show (WHSS) organisers announced the opening of the new Cleaning & Hygiene Zone, a special area inside the show that will be fully devoted to workplace hygiene and cleaning supplies.

The organisers said the zone is suitable for buyers of commercial cleaning and hygiene goods for offices, factories, construction sites, health care facilities, and educational settings.

The cleaning products that will be highlighted include commercial vacuums and sweepers, according to a press release.

“This is a great opportunity for Australia’s cleaning and hygiene companies to exhibit their products and solutions alongside SC Johnson Professional and other leading brands, and to help Australia’s workplaces meet their health and safety obligations,” said Jonathan Wilczek, event director of the Cleaning & Hygiene Zone.

The WHSS in Sydney in 2022 has historically attracted C-Suite decision makers, facility managers, and health and safety professionals from a wide range of industry verticals.

According to the event organisers, they are confident that this year’s additional show in Brisbane will also be well-attended.

“The recent implementation of the Work Health and Safety Bill puts Australia’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) managers on their toes,” noted Wilczek.

He continued, “As such, we anticipate that this year’s WHSS will attract large audiences of professionals, seeking the latest information, products, equipment and innovations to make compliance easier.”

The Workplace Health and Safety Show aims to provide the latest news and research, technology and products concerning health and safety at work in both Brisbane and Sydney this year.

The two-day in-person events will take place from 31 May to 1 June at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and from September 20 to 21 at the Sydney Showground.
