ESAB ST-16/ST-21 GMAW guns offered with Euro-style back-end connection

ESAB has updated its ST-21 and ST-16 GMAW guns with a Euro-style back-end connection that makes them compatible with the manufacturer’s feeders and other brands. They feature color-coded, quick connect/disconnect water lines and internal connections for shielding gas so they can be ready to weld in less than a minute, the company states.
Both guns have a 100% duty cycle at 600 amps and feature a design that can withstand the abusive environments of shipyards, mines, railcars, trailers, and construction and heavy fabrication sites. They are used for pulsed GMAW with 1/16-in. aluminum wires, tubular wires up to 7/64 in., and high-amperage spray and pulsed spray transfer applications.
The ST-16 EU has a slightly curved handle, a 55-degree gooseneck conductor tube, and a 10-ft. cable, making it compatible with portable welding tractors. The ST-21 EU has a pistol-grip/inline-style handle and comes with a 12-ft. cable.
