ADS-TEC Energy establishes first North American site for its fast-charging technology
ADS-TEC Energy, a provider of battery-buffered, fast-charging systems for electric vehicles, is establishing its first dedicated facility in North America in Auburn, Ala. The $8 million site, which will bring together sales, warehousing, service, and assembly, is expected to be functional by 2024 and create 180 jobs.
The company’s ChargeBox and ChargePost systems can be connected to the existing, limited-power electrical grid without requiring any expansion of the network.
