Many people are surprised to learn how many brands and products they know and love are made right here on the Central Coast or that some world-leading innovations have been designed and developed locally.

To highlight the ‘hidden’ strength of industry in the region, the Central Coast Industry Festival will culminate in an action-packed 3-day Expo from 1 to 3 September with over 50 exhibitors, including many of the Central Coast’s leading manufacturers and food and beverage producers showcasing their innovations and world-class products.

A few of the experiences Expo visitors can expect on the day are:

  • Demonstrations of advanced technologies, including robotics and 3D printing from local businesses, including Crossmuller, Chamberlain and 3D APAC,
  • The chance to discover the innovative ways local businesses like Feedback Organic, Arc Ento Tech, IQ Renew and Bib N Brace are addressing the global challenge of reducing waste to landfill, and
  • The opportunity to meet the makers behind the high-quality food and drink products crafted right here on the Central Coast and sample some of their artisan products, including juices, award-winning cheeses, wines, ice cream, spices and much more.

Festival organiser Alex Blow says, “This is the largest industry event ever held on the Coast and presents an exciting opportunity for everyone in the community to connect with the makers and innovators, sample their products and watch or participate in live interactive demonstrations.”

With over 2000 current job vacancies across the manufacturing sector on the Central Coast, Expo visitors can also learn about the diverse range of jobs available and connect with local employers, recruitment agencies and education and training providers who will all be represented at the Expo.

The Central Coast Industry Expo is part of a two-week festival that has been jointly funded by the Australian and New South Wales Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements on the back of bushfires, floods and COVID-19.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to come and experience Central Coast industry at its best on Thursday, September 1 and Saturday, September 3 at Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi. The Expo is free to attend. Register online by visiting www.centralcoastindustryfestival.com.au or at the door.
