The Victorian government has announced the winners for this year’s Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards on Tuesday at the Palladium, Crown.
With this year’s theme ‘Made in Victoria,’ the event aimed to highlight the significance of local manufacturing and the breadth of products, technology, and ideas produced in the state.
Amaero Additive Manufacturing was recognised as the Manufacturer of the Year in the small business category. Medical product maker Care Essentials and technology firm Planet Innovation won the same major award in the medium business and large business categories, respectively.
Planet Innovation was also recognised for its outstanding responsiveness to COVID-19.
Coolon LED Lighting won as the Leader in Industry 4.0, while industrial design, engineering, and advanced manufacturing enterprise Integra Systems won the Leader in Workforce Skills Development and Company Induction to the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame awards.

- Foodmach – Leader in Innovative Product Development and Commercialisation
- Nissan Casting Australia – Leader in Global Supply Chain Partnerships
- NCI Packaging – Leader in Low Carbon Economy
- Elastomers Australia – Leader in Diversity and Inclusion
Andrea Del Ciotto, head of business transformation and regulatory compliance at Osteon Medical, was awarded the Woman Manufacturer of the Year recognition.
Eagle Lighting Australia’s design engineer Benjamin Cheng won as the Young Manufacturer of the Year.
ANCA’s Patrick Boland and Pat McCluskey were part of the honour roll for the individual awards for their service to the industry.
