Award-winning embedded electronics consultancy is rapidly adding to its existing team with additional team members across its hardware, software and electric vehicle divisions.
As a result, the growing company has seen its relocation to new premises at Park Point Longbridge. At 6,000 sq ft, the new offices boast an increased footprint that’s more than double its previous space. Plans are also underway for the consultancy to create additional skilled jobs as well as graduate roles to bring the number of its employees from 38 to 50 by the end of 2024.
The newly appointed roles within ByteSnap Design include those of Embedded Systems Engineer; Senior Software Engineer and Hardware Engineer.
Anthony Wall, an Embedded Systems Engineer said; “What sets ByteSnap apart from other firms is its working environment where few problems seem unsolvable. If we get a project that uses something new, we endeavour and solve that problem without hesitation and often deploy elegant solutions that are used by others in the company.”
Highlights for Software Engineer, Marek Kujawa, include: “The people and the very varied work. One day, I’ll be working on a small battery-powered wearable. The next day, I am working on a smart industrial lighting control system – and the next, I am working on our very own EV charging solution. Every day is different, challenging, and demanding, which for me makes the job so enjoyable. Similarly, the EV market has shown an increase of 74% in 2020 in the number of plug-in vehicles sold in comparison to the number sold in 2020. ByteSnap has been in the EV arena since developing new software and electronics for EV charging stations at London 2012.
A large part of ByteSnap Design’s software team’s success consists of contracts to support large businesses in the final stages of product design. Recent projects have been completed in the food and drink, digital health, and access control sectors.
