Mullen Automotive acquires ELMS

Electric vehicle manufacturer Mullen Automotive Inc. has announced it has acquired the assets of Electric Last Mile Solutions, Mishawaka, Ind. The acquisition will allow the company to launch into the commercial market much earlier than previously planned, delivering Class 1 products in Q1 2023, followed by Class 3 vehicles in Q2.

The Mishawaka factory, which previously produced GM’s Hummer H2 and the Mercedes-Benz R-Class vehicle, will now produce the Mullen Five SUV and the Bollinger B1 and B2 platforms.
