MakerVerse hires COO

Berlin-based MakerVerse, the additive manufacturing platform for sourcing industrial-grade parts on demand, has named Ward Ripmeester as COO. He has a decade of AM supply chain and operations experience.

Ripmeester previously served as director of global supply chain at Shapeways. Before that, he was involved in the preparation, launch, and execution of a postal delivery service at TNT Post. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in global business and stakeholder management from Erasmus University.

MakerVerse enables users to upload design files and instantly receive quotes for prototyping and creating end-use parts using a variety of AM technologies and materials.
