Schneider Electric Opens its Largest U.S. Manufacturing Operation

Schneider Electric has unveiled a new 160,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in El Paso, Texas, as part of its $300 million U.S. manufacturing investment.

This facility will produce custom-designed low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical products, critical components for distributing electrical power in various industrial, commercial and residential settings, with the initial products already shipped to customers in the data-center sector.

Automation engineers would be interested in this development as it signifies the company's commitment to fostering innovation, job creation and sustainable growth in the American manufacturing sector. The El Paso campus is now Schneider Electric's largest manufacturing operation in the United States, with the company anticipating the creation of approximately 400 new jobs, bringing its workforce in El Paso to around 1,500 employees by the end of the year.
