TriMas to acquire Weldmac

TriMas has signed an agreement to acquire the operating net assets of Weldmac Manufacturing Co., a manufacturer of complex metal fabricated components and assemblies for the aerospace, defense, and space launch end markets. Weldmac will become part of TriMas Aerospace.

Located in El Cajon, Calif., Weldmac offers numerous AS9100D- and Nadcap-certified manufacturing services. Its processes include welding, stamping, punching, hydroforming, forging, laser cutting, custom tooling, and machining, as well as quality control inspection and complex assembly.

TriMas manufactures products primarily for the consumer products, aerospace, and industrial markets through its TriMas Packaging, TriMas Aerospace, and Specialty Products groups.
