The Asia-Pacific International Additive Manufacturing Conference (APICAM) is set to return for its third year from 21 to 23 June at the University of Sydney.
APICAM launched in 2017 and had its second event in 2019, although it was put on hold for four years owing to COVID-19. The three-day event will facilitate the type of networking that is vital to the furthering of the additive manufacturing industry.
In particular, the conference aims to bring together industry leaders and academics to network and share information in order to progress the AM industry, including subjects such as defence applications and clean energy.
Attendees will also dive into topics like space applications, post-processing, ceramic additive manufacturing, as well as design, qualification, and certification.
Digital manufacturing, emerging AM technologies, metal additive manufacturing, polymer additive manufacturing, modelling and simulations, as well as sustainability are also among the areas to tackle.Â
Attendees will get the opportunity to discover the University of Sydney’s Core Research Facilities during APICAM 2023.
The comprehensive technical program will include lectures from invited internationally distinguished researchers, as well as contributed presentations and posters.
