Kraken Robotics receives $6M order

ST. JOHN’S — Kraken Robotics Inc. announces that it has received orders totalling more than $6 million for subsea batteries. Customer details cannot be disclosed. Deliveries are expected to occur in 2024 and 2025.

Kraken Robotics Inc. is a marine technology manufacturer providing complex subsea sensors, batteries, and robotic systems.

On Mar. 20, Kraken Robotics also said they secured contracts totaling $2.4 million for subsea batteries and synthetic aperture sonar systems (SAS).

The SAS sensor contracts are for a Research Institute and a Hydrographic Office of an unnamed Navy.
